HOW IT WORKS

We begin by getting to know your team and your team’s needs and goals through an assessment, then design a unique training day for immediate impact and lasting change.

Your training day is filled with experiential activities with horses that are designed to relate directly to your present leadership opportunities. You will engage with the horses in ways that provide feedback on your style of interacting in a team setting.

Working with horses affords you a safe environment to navigate the unknown in partnership with someone who requires your reassurance yet offers no judgment on your leadership.

Your teambuilding will not include riding and won’t require any knowledge of horses. we can design roles and activities that respect the concerns of participants that range from apprehensive to downright fearful of horses and will work with them to feel secure in our learning environment.

Once you have completed an exercise, the team processes their experience with our facilitator -discover, how and what behaviors and beliefs contributed to the experience and lesson learned that you want to take back to work.

But this step alone doesn’t always lead to an integration of the learning back into the workplace.

To ensure the greatest impact we meet with you after the training day to review the list of discoveries and collaborate with you to implement strategies to integrate them so real change occurs. Then we complete a summary report of your training that your team can use to remember and implement your learning from the day.

Along with the amazing interactions with the horses, we intentionally create an environment of learning that is nonjudgmental, safe to make mistakes and be human, and uses humor to laugh, learn, and let go of what no longer serves your team. We believe you have all you need within you to be the leader and team member your company needs. What the horses do, and what we do as facilitators, is connect you to the strengths you already have within you.

We will work with you to customize a curriculum for your team building event.

We offer half-day and full day trainings year-round and can assist with any additional services you may need such as lodging or catering.

Once we have done that, we book dates. It’s that simple.
