Our activities with horses provide a safe and intentional space for staff to connect, and create a collaborative and inclusive space. Horses by example can help create and support a business culture of belonging.
As in business, the survival of a herd depends on good leaders and team members working together toward a shared goal. Horses are naturally authentic and emotionally intelligent, all the time.
Members of a herd will challenge a leader who is vague, confusing, or has a hidden agenda. With a horse, you can’t hide your true feelings, finesse your way through, bully your way around, or hope they will just do what you say because you are nice to them. We are all uniquely vulnerable in the presence of horses.
This shared vulnerability dissolves cultural and gender barriers, in the arena the proverbial field is leveled.
Horses ask us to step up and be congruent, present, clear, and authentic leaders.
